Mohammad “Aiker” Merkabaoui is back to football

Just before the start of the league, Mohammad “Aiker” Merkabaoui announced his retirement from football after the doctors advised him not to continue due to his repetitive injuries.

Yesterday, he announced on his Facebook page that he accepted an offer to play in the Emirati league, without naming the club. He stated that the bad turf is the reason behind his injuries, and he will not face this problem in the UAE.

Aiker thanked the Bourj family and administration for not standing in his way and everything they have done for him in the past.
