The two Lebanese teams to play in the 2021 AFC Cup are selected

The Lebanese Football Association (LFA) confirmed today that Ansar and Ahed will represent Lebanon in the 2021 AFC Cup.

The 2019-2020 Lebanese Premier League was cancelled due to the the global pandemic and therefore the LFA decided to choose Ahed, 2018-2019 Lebanese Premier League and FA Cup winners, and Ansar, 2018-2019 Lebanese Premier League runners-up.

Both teams were competing in the 2020 AFC Cup before it was scrapped after gameweek 2.
