AC Tripoli started the season with very bad news as both Abdallah Moghrabi and Abdallah Ali left the club after gameweek 1.
The pair had an offer from an Iraqi club but their transfer wasn’t completed as they paperwork didn’t end on time. The way they left the club and fled the country was not welcomed by the northern club, as Team Manager, Claude Kharma, described their action as treason.
Both players sent a letter to the administration of the club asking for forgiveness and to rejoin the team. Moghrabi and Ali participated in the first game of the season against Sahel before leaving and also are graduated of Tripoli’s youth system.
