Ansar appoints new coach

In an official statement, Ansar has appointed Robert Jaspert as the new head coach following the resignation of Abdul Wahhab Abou El Hel.

This isn’t Jaspert’s first time with greens. He took over the team in 2017. This time, he has Kevork Gorabedian as an assistant. Jaspert also coached other Lebanese clubs including Ahed and Safa.

The Ansar board will be depending on Jaspert to bring back the title after 14 years. His job won’t be easy after all the chaos has happened lately at the club.
