AFC Cup clubs looking for foreigners

On May 5, the TMS transfer window opens in Lebanon. Ahed and Ansar are looking forward for this date to sign new foreign players.

According to El Maestro, Ahed will sign a new forward for their asian campaign. Currently, two players are under trial, with one more likely to join.

The closest player to be signed is Selim Nurmuradov (Turkmenistan). He played 17 games last season, scored 2 goals and won the Turkmenistani league 5 times in a row.

The other player is Rundell Winchester, a Trinidadian international player. His last experience was in Malta where he played 11 matches and scored 2 goals.

Ansar seem to have decided upon 3 foreigners and a player from Lebanese origins.

In an interview on An Nahar net, Nabil Bader revealed that his club are looking to bring back Hajj Malick Tall, despite the reports of him extending his contract with his Saudi club.

On the other hand, Ansar will be also looking to bring a defender from Gambia and another Senegali midfielder. The arrival of the Lebanese player is conditioned by his paperworks.

All these transfers are on hold until the full confirmation of the openning of the TMS transfer season in Lebanon, which should come in the first few days of May.
