The squad list of Ahed and Ansar are revealed

The deadline to present the team sheets for the 2021 AFC Cup group stage has passed and both Lebanese teams, obviously, presented the 23 names that will represent the club.

Ahed has publicly announced their players. The biggest name to be left out of the squad is Walid Shour. The 24-year-old has played 16 games this season, scoring 2 goals and assisting 1. On the other hand, Hussein Awada, Mostafa Matar and Hussein Haidar will all travel with the team, along side the 4 foreigners.

Ansar have not announced their squad list. According to our sources, Youssef Barakat has signed with green team, returning from a loan spell at Shabab El Sahel. This meant that Bilal Najdi did not have a place on the squad. The 27-year-old played 7 games this season, all in the league. Mohammad Hbous will not be joining the team also. On the other hand, Hassan Kaafarani and Omar Bahlawan will travel with team. Anas Abou Saleh was also registered, which means that Jaspert is hopeful of his speedy recovery. Ansar has also registered 2 new foreign players, as stated by the club.
