A new player to join the U-22 National Team

A defender coming from Canada will join the U-22 national team camp in Beirut from November 12 to 15!

His name is Tony Mikhael. Born in 2000, he has so far a successful youth career taking into account the criteria in Canada. In 2018, he joined Carleton University men’s football team. The Ravens are known to be one of the best teams at the university level.
Therefore he is on the on the radar of professional clubs playing in the Canadian Premier League.

Tony can play centre back or full back. In an interview posted by his team, he describe is way of playing: “I play aggressively. I consider myself a versatile player. I like to get forward and start a play, but I can also sit back and organize.” He also describe his strengths: “I am a natural leader out on the field; I’m a good 1v1 defender and I make sure to remain organized and keep shape at the back. I also like to get forward and I deliver good long ball passes.”

It will be a good opportunity for the coaching staff to know him better.
