Bassem Marmar leaves Kuwait. Good news for Ahed?

Bassem Marmar, winner of the 2019 AFC Cup with Ahed and the 2020 Kuwait Emir Cup with Al-Arabi, has been sacked by the Kuwaiti club after only two games in the League – one draw and a 1-0 defeat !

Bassem Marmar will come back to Lebanon. What will be his next step?
In 2019, Marmar told Fa Lebanon the following: “I can’t picture myself outside of Ahed. If I had to resign now after winning the AFC Cup, I have no problem to go back to the youth sector. If an offer comes from abroad, I’ll maybe think about it and all the circumstances around it. But in Lebanon, I have no problem to stay at Ahed throughout my career. In fact, I am still present at the training of the youth teams.”

Are we going to witness the comeback of Marmar as the architect of Ahed’s youth system? It’ll be undoubtedly good news for Ahed!
