Emile Restoum returns to Safa SC

Al-Safa Club has completed its final and latest addition to their technical staff in the form of Emile Restoum as technical director of the club’s first team.

Even though he started taking over training sessions a couple of weeks ago, with the Abou Diab, which was the same combination that led Safa to win their last league title in the 2015-2016 season, Safa just made the appointment official.

When asked why he chose Safa, the 68 year-old said “Because it’s Safa”, also claiming that he is attracted to tough situations, which will make the Safa fans feel a bit bittersweet.

Roustom has a special managerial career, being the only coach to win the Lebanese Premier with two dfferent teams. Moreover, he became the first manager to coach both Nejmeh and Ansar, having managed them from 2008-2010 and in 2017 respectively.
