Lebanese Football is back

The Lebanese Football Association (LFA) has announced the return of football!

A preparatory tournament, which will be compulsory for all clubs in the first division, will take place on July 29 2020. Its name and regulation will be announced shortly.

The Premier League and Second division season of 2020/2021 will begin on September 18 2020. Some changes of the regulations are expected to be announced in the future.

The federation also announced that the match of the 2nd round of the Asian qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2022 & AFC Asian Cup 2023 against Sri Lanka will take place on November 12 at Saida International Stadium. Reasons remain unknown.

Finally, the federation has also posted all the necessary preventions that clubs must follow concerning the combat of Covid-19
