With the return of the AFC qualifiers set for October 2020, the Lebanese Football Association has begun preparations to boost the National Team squad.
The federation has announced the introduction of preparatory training sessions to study the possible addition of fresh faces to the ranks of the Cedars.
Four training sessions will take place on the 29th of June, 6th, 13th, and 20th of July 2020. They will serve as an assessment of the called up players’ skillsets and fitness, which will be decisive for their future inclusion in the Lebanese National Team.
The players who have received a call up so far are: Ghazi Hneini, Mahdi Mzanar, Kassem Al Shoum, Hassan Hammoud, Youssef Barakat, Moussa Al Tawil (Al Ansar), Abbas Assi, Jad Hussein, Ali Abboud, Ali Al Moussawi (Shabab Al Sahel), Khaled Jassem, Abdallah Moghrabi, Fouad Eid, Khaled Ali (Tripoli) Mark Mhanna, Ali Fahes, Ali Issa (Racing) Hussein Sharaffeddine, Hassan Mhanna (Safa) Habib Choueikh, Nader Maroush (Al Akhaa Al Ahli), Antoine Doueihy (Salam Zgharta) and Haidar Khreiss (Nejmeh) Hadi Mortada (Tadamon Sour) Yasser Achour (Free Agent) .
