Lebanon to play 2 new friendlies

The LFA has announced 2 new friendlies to be played before the qualifiers against Turkmenistan on 30 March 2021.

Lebanon will face Kuwait on the 9th of January at Kuwait and Jordan on the 24th of March at Dubai before travelling for Ashgabad.

It’s unsure if the game against Kuwait will be an official FIFA friendly as the date isn’t a part of the FIFA Day window. Although the friendly against Jordan is a FIFA friendly and will interefere in our FIFA ranking.

Those friendlies will come as a preparation for an important qualifer against group leaders Turkmenistan. 1 point seperate first from fourth in this group with 3 games left for each team.
