Lebanon to play Arab Cup Qualifiers

16 Arab nations will take part in the Arab Cup, which will be held from 1 until 18 December 2021 in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™️ stadiums.

The best 10 national teams based on FIFA rankings are already qualified: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Tunis, Algeria, Morocco, Qatar, Iraq, UAE, Syria and Oman.

The other 12 national teams will need to play qualifiers. According to many reports the draw will be held on April.

Based on FIFA rankings, Lebanon might be placed on pot 1 alongside Jordan, Bahrain, Palestine, Mauritania and Libya. Therefore Lebanon might play against one of these teams: Sudan, Comores, Yemen, Djibouti or Somalia. Lebanon has never played against Djibouti and Comores so this could be an interesting draw.
According to some reports, the qualifying games might be played between August and October.

The Lebanese Football Association didn’t receive yet any details concerning the draw.
