Lebanon won’t travel to Kuwait

Since Monday, the question arises as to whether the match between Lebanon and Kuwait scheduled for January 9 in the Gulf state will take place or not.

Initially, the problem was in the Kuwait camp. It was considered impossible that the selection of the Cedars could come and play in Kuwait without quarantine. This issue has been resolved and has evolved.

Yesterday, an unexpected turn of events occurred in Kuwait. The authorities have agreed to relax the drastic health rules for the Lebanese team when they arrive on Kuwaiti soil.

The Lebanese Federation have announced today that the Cedars won’t travel to Kuwait since there is no direct flight to Kuwait from Beirut.
