Safa to sign a new national team goalkeeper

Ahmad Taktouk will join Safa coming from Nejmeh. He’s a familiar face at the Wata Msaytbeh club since he played there in the 2018-19 season.

The 36^th year old goalkeeper was informed of him being fourth choice days before the end of the transfer season and therefore sat out the whole league so far.

Safa has been unlucky with goalkeepers this season, with Rabih El Kakhi suffering a long-term injury and therefore relying on 17 years old Talal Dandashli, who has been solid between the sticks.

Taktouk has been a regular member of the squad of the national team recently. His experience and great spirit are really appreciated. He will join Safa for the five remaining games of the season. The Yellow and Blue Club will either play the Final 6 or the Bottom 6.
