Update on the 2021 AFC Cup

According to a leak from the Tajikstan FA, the AFC selected the hosts of the respective groups of the AFC Cup 2021.

Al Hidd (Bahrain) will host the Group A games. Ahed have been drawn in this group alongside Al Wahda (Syria) and Al Nasr (Oman).

Al Salt (Jordan) will host Group B, which also contain Al Ansar, Balata Center (Palestine) and Muharraq (Bahrain).

The group stage will be played in one round — 3 games — from May 23 to May 29.
The winners of each group and the best runners-up in the West Asia Zone would have advanced to the Zonal semi-finals (the competition’s quarter final) and the winner of the AFC Cup 2021 will have an indirect spot in the 2022 AFC Champions League.
