The draw for both the AFC U-16 and U-19 Championship 2018 qualifiers has been made – and it has done the Cedars no favours.
U-16 Lebanon have been drawn in Group C alongside Iran (hosts), Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and Bhutan.
The games will be played in Iran from September 16-24, 2017.
U-19 Lebanon have been drawn in Group C alongside Qatar (hosts), Iraq, and Afghanistan.
The games will be played in Qatar from October 31 to November 8.
Please note that for both the AFC U-16 and U-19 Championship 2018, the ten group winners and the five best runners-up qualify for the final tournament. If the final tournament hosts win their group or are among the five best runners-up, the sixth best runner-up also qualifies for the final tournament.
