The resignation of Roda Antar was announced by Abbas Marmar, the brother of Bassem Marmar. Today Abbas Marmar shared a post on facebook saying that Bassem Marmar has been named head coach at Ahed.
Bassem Marmar won with the Yellows the 2019 AFC Cup, 3 Lebanese Premier League titles, 2 Lebanese FA Cup titles.
It will be really difficult to win a 4th Lebanese Premier League title. Ahed are ten points away from the leaders Ansar, with 5 games left. The aim of Ahed this season might be the 2021 AFC Cup. But until now, the AFC didn’t gave any information concerning the procedure of this competition this season.
