In an official statement, Al Ahed FC have announced that they have been keen on taking all necessary safety precautions for their comeback in these difficult times.
The club management’s first course of action was to have every player tested for Covid-19 before returning to training.
One positive case has been detected among the squad with Hussein Dakik, who was asked to self isolate, and will be monitored by the club.
With the massive nationwide increase of Covid-19 cases, Al Ahed urges the rest of the Lebanese clubs to take all necessary precautions and abide by health regulations to ensure a safe return to the leagues.
We wish Hussein a speedy recovery.
