In 2018, Beirut Municipal stadium was restored and replanted to host Premier League games starting the 2018-19 season. Due to the negligence of the governing body, the stadium was out of order just couple of months after this process.
This time, the pitch will be covered in artificial grass. This is the first time the stadium will no be covered by natural grass.
There is not an official deadline for the restoration process to end, but judging by the pictures, work seems to be almost done there. Will we able to see the stadium back in January 2021?
