New call-up to the national team?

In order to qualify for the 2021 Arab Nations Cup, Lebanon will have to win against Djibouti on June 23 at Khalifa International Stadium, one of the stadiums of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The game is not inside the FIFA International window. Therefore Lebanon will miss a couple of players who are playing abroad. Some names has been spotted in training including returning captain Hassan Maatouk, Ahmad Hijazi, Hassan Mhanna and Haidar Khreiss.

These players were participating in training sessions even before the trip to South Korea. The final squad list could have less than 23 players, as the trip is just for one match.

In other news, Hassan Chaito “Moni” will miss the game for sure as he will not 100% fit in time.
